Our Story

Ten years ago, we stood on this very property and said “I do.” The Cottage wasn’t just our wedding venue, it was the place where our life together truly began. The vineyard, the winding stone paths, the golden hillside at sunset… it all became part of our story.

After our wedding here, Nicholas felt a spark that would change his path. He followed his passion and built Narvold Photography, capturing love stories across Wisconsin and beyond. What started as a dream became a full-time career in the wedding world learning the rhythm of a wedding day, the behind-the-scenes details, and what truly matters to couples.

Through it all, Alisha was the anchor, supporting the dream, managing the details, and keeping our family grounded with grace and practicality. Over the years, we welcomed three beautiful children and built a life rooted in Menomonie, always feeling the support, love, and connection of our local community.

For nearly five years, the idea of owning a wedding venue quietly grew alongside us. And it was always this venue—the place where it all began. The one we imagined filled again with laughter, music, and celebration.

Now, as we step into this dream, we are not only thinking of couples and families who will celebrate here, we are thinking of our own children. We want to share this journey with them, helping them grow up in a space filled with love, community, and connection, just as we experienced. It’s a chance for our family to live the values we hold dear: warmth, joy, and togetherness.
